|I was born in Montreal, Québec, in
1973 and lived in Toronto, Ontario, between 1989 and 2006.
Recently, I relocated to Waterloo, Ontario. I was married in 1996
and have a five-year old daughter.
I completed my BA at York University's Glendon College and my MA at the History Department of the University of Toronto. I received the PhD from the Université du Québec à Montréal and then held a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the Centre for Medieval Studies at the University of Toronto.

For the past three years, I have worked as Assistant Professor of Medieval History at St. Jerome's College in the University of Waterloo. Prior to that, I taught for five years at at the at York University, at University of Toronto, and at St. Michael's College School in Toronto.
